Pneumonia may take lives of nearly 11 mn kids by 2030: Study

Nearly 11 mn children under the age of 5 will likely to die due to pneumonia by 2030, says a study jointly conducted by Johns Hopkins University and ‘Save the Children’. The study said it is in developing countries the infectious killer takes the lives of infants most. Pneumonia that infects the lungs via bacteria can be cured if detected early.
