Painful bone biopsies to be replaced by drawn blood samples

Scientists have developed a new blood test to diagnose multiple Myeloma, bound to replace painful procedure of making incision on bone for biopsies. The new test uses a credit card size plastic chip which works on drawn blood. With this test, it will be possible to determine stage of the disease, drugs to be used and also signs of any relapse.
