New transport law drives Uber to restart services in Finland

Cab hailing app Uber informed that it would restart its services in Finland after one year’s halt as it sees the transport law reform would benefit the app. The services were suspended for a year following the pressure from traditional taxi drivers and regulators. The reformed law that came into effect in July is likely to be favourable to Uber.
