Navy increases presents in Persian Gulf to counter China

The Indian Navy is reported to have increased its strength in the Persian Gulf to protect Iran’s Chabahar Port, which is developed by India, from Chinese forays. The move was triggered on the tip-off of China’s plans to establish a military base near the Port. It was strategic for India as its proximity with Pak’s Chinese built Gwadar port.
