Mortality rates for fungal infections on the rise

A research conducted by Imperial College London and Exeter University shows that Fungi is becoming more fungicide resistant. It can cause diseases in crops, animals and people. The report says that the global mortality rates for fungal infections seem to be higher than breast cancer and malaria. To overcome this new drugs have to be developed.
