Maratha quota agitators vows not to pay tax till demand met

Maratha groups agitating for reservation vowed to not pay tax till the community’s demand for quota was implanted. They have also decided to blockade all main roads with their families, livestock and vehicles on Aug 9. They said the non-cooperation would cover non-payment of the entire range of taxes, including income-tax and agricultural cess.
