Male victims of sex crimes ignored

The Indian government is ignoring the plight of boys who were sexually abused. The stigma attached to homosexuality makes many cases go unreported. Those who report abuse are not provided compensation by state-run, centrally monitored programmes. The government plans to introduce a gender-neutral legislation in the next session of Parliament.
