Lynching: Authorities to regulate social media messages

Authorities have been stuck in dilemma in bringing regulations to control social media messages amid rising violence driven by the spread of fake news through social media platforms. More than a dozen people have been lynched across India since May in violence prompted by the rumours of various incidents mainly by messages on the WhatsApp service.
