Launch of James Webb Space Telescope postponed to 2021

The launch of James Webb Space Telescope the world's premier science observatory has been deferred to March 2021 by NASA. This move will cost the agency an additional $8.8 billion. The review board chaired by Tom Young unanimously recommended that it was critical for all the elements of Webb to functions properly before it reaches the space.
