Kerala issues travel advisory amid Nipah outbreak

The Kerala Govt has asked visitors to stay away from Kozhikode, Malappuram, Waynad and Kannur due to the reported outbreak of Nipah Virus. 10 people have lost their lives in Kozhikode and Malappuram districts and 19 are undergoing treatment in various hospitals, including one in Waynad. So far no decision has been taken on reopening of schools.
