India’s First Robotic Telescope unveiled at Ladakh

India’s first robotic telescope was unveiled at Indian Astronomical Observatory, Hanle, Ladakh. G.C. Anupama, in-charge of IAO says the facility partners with telescopes located around the world to observe the sky. It is designed to capture cosmic events occurring in timescales shorter than light years. It is a collaboration between IIA and IITB.
