Indian scientists observe a new planet through PARAS

ISRO announced that India has joined a select group of countries that have discovered planets around stars. The planet has a size between Saturn and Neptune was found by Abhijit Chakraborty and team from Gurushikhar Observatory in Mount Abu. It is 27 times the mass and 6 times the radius of Earth. It revolves around a sun-like star in 19.5 days.
