Heatwaves likely to scorch a vast area of China: MIT study

A new research conducted by the MIT in the US said that heatwaves will likely to make a vast area of China uninhabitable towards the end of the century. As carbon emissions rise and farmland expands across the fertile North China Plain, this area could soon see the biggest climate change-induced loss of human life on Earth, it said.
