The unmanned Japanese space explorer Hayabusa2 reached asteroid Ryugu. The spacecraft will blow a crater in the rocky surface to collect samples and bring them back to Earth. It is expected to make three brief touch-and-go landings on the surface of the asteroid. It will also deploy 3 rovers that can hop around on the surface for conducting probes.
