Gurugram gets new police chief

Senior IPS officer K. K. Rao has been appointed as the Commissioner of Police of Gurugram in a reshuffle that saw the transfer of eight officers. The ’96-batch officer will take charge from Sandeep Khirwar. Rao, who was in charge of escorting Gurmeet Ram Raheem Singh decoded the signals sent to incite violence. He prioritises women’s safety.
