First set of driver's licenses granted to Saudi women

Saudi Arabia issued the first driving license to 10 women on Monday. These women already hold international driving licenses. The country is preparing to lift the ban on female drivers on June 24. However, women who campaigned for the right to drive still remain under arrest. The UN body for Human Rights has asked for the release of the activists.
