Fiji was struck with a 6.7 magnitude earthquake on Monday, which did not cause any damage. The residents did not feel any tremor as it was centred 534 km deep and 283 km east of the capital Suva. This area has been hit with a 7.8-magnitude tremor two months ago. And it is prone to deep undersea earthquakes, said the US Geological Survey.
