Dogs could be used as models for future research

Researchers from Budapest’s ELTE University found that normal and overweight dogs behaved differently in tasks involving food. Canines of normal weight obeyed instructions to check 2nd bowl for food, but obese ones refused after a few rounds when they were offered 2 bowls of food, suggesting that dogs could be used as models for future research.
