A study by Andrews University found that diet and exercise are as effective as medication at reducing blood pressure cutting a person’s risk of heart disease or stroke in half. The participants in the study followed a vegan diet, walked outside daily, drank substantial quantities of water, got adequate sleep and did spiritual activities.
