Dalit collective appeals to UN to end caste-based violence

A Dalit women collective, a 1st in India, released a report at the United Nations Human Rights Council’s 38th session at Geneva, citing the caste-based violence faced by women. It is titled ‘Voices Against Caste Impunity: Narratives of Dalit Women in India.’ It gives a detailed account of the violence and recommends actions to end the injustice.
