Curiosity rover may have found evidence of life on Mars

NASA’s Curiosity rover has found evidence of life in a primeval Martian lake bed. It has also confirmed periodic increases of methane in the Martian atmosphere. Methane may have been generated by the animal or plant life existent there. The studies appear in the journal Science. Experts describe the findings as a leap forward in astrobiology.
