Court places activist Sudha Bharadwaj under house arrest

The Faridabad Chief Judicial Magistrate has cancelled the transit remand of human rights and civil liberty activist Sudha Bharadwaj. She was in custody of the Maharashtra police, and has now been placed under house arrest at her home. She has been charged several sections of the Unlawful Activities act. The police seized all her electronic devices.
