Constitution doesn’t allow arrest without fair process: SC

While hearing the Center's review petition on the SC’s rule on SC/ST Act, the SC asserted that the Constitution does not allow the arrest of a person without a fair procedure. It also underlined that even Parliament cannot deny a person the fundamental rights under Article 21. The SC had brought in stringent measures against the misuse of the Act.
