China likely to scrap child policy due to lower birth rate

China is reportedly considering scrapping birth restrictions after it has been found that the 40 years planning has impacted the birth rate. The current policy that limits couples to have two children was relaxed from the infamous one-child policy that was in force from 1979. The report did not indicate whether it would allow unlimited children.
