Cancer expert urges Govt to wage a war against tobacco

Imperial College professor Justin Stebbing, professor of cancer medicine and oncology, has urged the Govt to begin a war against tobacco on the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Tobacco and alcohol pose the biggest risks and it is vital to curb their use through mass public programs with special focus on the youth and children, he said.
