Scientists are looking for new ways to combat drug-resistant superbugs. They have mapped the genes of more than 3000 bacteria. The samples include strains taken from Alexander Fleming’s nose and First World War soldier. The mapping will be published on the Britain’s NCTC website and can be used by researchers to develop new drugs and treatments.
