Researchers in Australia’s government funded Threatened Species Recovery Hub have identified 10 Australian Birds and 7 mammals, whose extinction could be prevented if the government and communities acted. Australia’s mammal extinction rate is highest in the world, and identification of mammals at risk was very important according to experts.
