Astronaut Alan Bean of Apollo 12 mission passes away

Astronaut Alan Bean who was a part of the Apollo 12 mission and had journeyed to the space twice passed away at the age of 86. The Navy test pilot joined NASA's astronaut corps in 1963. He was the fourth man to land on the plain called Ocean of Storms on the moon. Along with him aboard Apollo 12 were Charles Conrad Jr and Richard F. Gordon Jr.
