For the first time in the US history, US voters elected 2 Muslim women, both Democrats, to Congress. The victory of duo is viewed historic in a country where anti-Muslim rhetoric has been on the rise, reports said. Both Ilhan Omar, a Somali refugee and Rashida Tlaib, daughter of Palestinian immigrant parents, won House seats from Midwestern states.
