Air pollution may be aggravating diabetes, says study

A new study found that air pollution is responsible for about 14% of diabetes worldwide. Genetics, weight, activity level and diet also influence the risk of the disease. Fine particles belched out by the cars and factories, and generated through chemical reactions in the atmosphere, hang around as haze and make the air hard to breathe.
