Researchers have discovered that dieting among teenage girls can lead to risky behaviors such as smoking and binge drinking. Dieters were found to be 1.6 times more likely to smoke and skip breakfast while they were 1.5 times more likely to engage in binge drinking. Crash diets can lead to low bone density, heart problems and gallstones.
