A wearable sensor app to help smokers quit the habit

US researchers have developed a wearable sensor technology to help users quit smoking. The app detects arm and body motions associated with smoking. It then sends video texts of 20 to 120 secs to smokers. The messages stress the health and financial benefits of quitting smoking. Earlier studies have proved that cigarettes contain 7,000 chemicals.
