A Dress Bank for Kerala’s poor women

Asha Jomis, a part of relief committee during the Chennai floods, was infuriated when heaps of dilapidated clothes were donated for the victims. Thus was born the social entrepreneurial venture, Dress Bank. Initially it was limited to receiving new dresses for poor women. Namitha Kiran of Navomi fashion joined hands in offering customized clothing.
