A 6.4-magnitude earthquake in Indonesia kills 3

A 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck the Indonesian island of Lombok, killing at least 3 people. It hit at 6:47 am local time, according to the United States Geological Survey. Two others  were injured and one house was badly damaged. Island authorities have temporarily closed the hiking trails on Mount Rinjani in fear of landslides after the quake.
