3D facial recognition to end the use of passwords

Scientists have developed a new 3D facial recognition system called FR3DNet, which they claim can identify people even if there are changes in expressions, textures and scale. It improves security measures while possibly removing the need for personal passwords. Currently, 2D facial recognition is being widely used, but it has several shortcomings.
